Cryptolocker and crytpoWall are variants on a very popular virus known as ransomware. Ransomware has increased as a threat drastically in the market over the last several years. The virus gets into an environment, encrypts files, and puts up a ransom page for the victim to send a form of untraceable payment in order to gain back the ability to access those files.
