IT Transformation and Hybrid Cloud Services Company Recognized for Workplace Excellence

Kittery, ME—Oct 25, 2017—GreenPages, a leading IT transformation, and hybrid cloud services provider, announced today that is has been named one of the 2017 Best Places to Work in Maine.
Run by the Best Companies Group, the “Best Places” program recognizes companies that consistently foster outstanding workplace environments.

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Maine which benefit the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses.

Metrics included evaluating corporate workplace policies, practices, and demographics; results from this process were worth 25% of the total evaluation. The second part of the evaluation was weighted at 75% and consisted of a voluntary employee survey to measure employee satisfaction and experience. The combined scores determined the top companies.

“If you want to know if employees love coming to work every day, and if you want to know if trust, respect, and communication permeate the culture, ask the employees,” said Peter Burke, president of Best Companies Group. “The companies that make this list are there because their employees said they belong there. On average, over 90% of the employees working for the Best Places to Work in Maine are engaged and connected to their employer. That is pretty remarkable and should be celebrated.”

The awards program is a project of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Maine State Council (MESHRM), and Best Companies Group.
