Identify Critical Functions and Dependencies
We conduct a Business Impact Analysis to define what matters most, how long it can be down, and what needs to recover first. This becomes the foundation for all continuity and recovery decisions.
Backups alone do not guarantee recovery. Business Resilience Solutions aligns business priorities, recovery planning, and modern backup strategies so you can respond to disruption with clarity, restore operations quickly, and minimize business impact.

Blue Mantis aligns business priorities, recovery planning, and backup operations into a unified resilience program.
Blue Mantis identifies critical business functions, dependencies, and acceptable downtime thresholds. We establish the foundation for all continuity and recovery decisions.
Blue Mantis develops and validates plans that ensure continuity of operations and recovery of systems during disruptive events. We provide clear guidance for teams under pressure.
Blue Mantis designs backup architectures that protect recovery data from ransomware, deletion, and unauthorized modification. We ensure recovery points remain intact during attacks.
Let Blue Mantis manage your backups for you. We provide ongoing monitoring and management of backup environments built on industry-leading technology, so recovery readiness is consistently maintained without adding to your team's workload.
We conduct a Business Impact Analysis to define what matters most, how long it can be down, and what needs to recover first. This becomes the foundation for all continuity and recovery decisions.
Business continuity and disaster recovery plans are built and tested against realistic scenarios. This ensures teams know what to do when disruption occurs, not just on paper.
Backup architecture is built to protect recovery data from ransomware, deletion, and tampering. This ensures you have clean recovery points when it matters most.
Ongoing monitoring, health checks, and retention management keep backup environments operating correctly. This removes the operational burden from your internal team.
Business continuity focuses on keeping critical operations running during a disruption. Disaster recovery focuses on restoring systems and data after an incident. Both are needed, and they work together — continuity keeps the business functioning while recovery brings systems back online.
We recommend testing critical systems quarterly and all protected workloads annually. Blue Mantis includes simulations and live failover testing as part of this cadence, validating backup performance under real recovery conditions and surfacing gaps before an actual disaster strikes.
A BIA identifies which systems and functions are most critical, how long they can be unavailable, and what the downstream impact of failure looks like. Without it, recovery plans are built on assumptions rather than actual business priorities — which leads to wrong decisions under pressure.
Immutable backups cannot be altered, encrypted, or deleted once written — even by an administrator. This protects recovery data from ransomware attacks that specifically target backups to eliminate recovery options. Without immutability, backups can be compromised along with the rest of the environment.
At minimum, plans should be tested annually and after any significant change to the environment, personnel, or business operations. Tabletop exercises validate decision-making and communication while technical recovery tests confirm systems can actually be restored within required timeframes.
Managed backup includes continuous monitoring of backup jobs, health and performance checks, retention management, and operational support. The goal is to ensure backups are consistently running correctly and that recovery is actually possible when needed — not just assumed.
We will identify your most critical systems, define recovery priorities, and evaluate how well your current backup and continuity plans perform under real conditions. You leave with a clear path to strengthen resilience and reduce downtime risk.
